Today
What makes us different?
Through working within the NHS for nearly 10 years, Oakfield have become increasingly aware that some of our most vulnerable young people through not receiving the specialist support they needed in their community. As a result, they are spending much of their lives within secure / inpatient settings.
Unfortunately, many of these young people are remaining in secure settings simply due to a lack of suitable provisions available within the community.
Oakfield recognised that it’s model of care and specialised therapeutic input within a hospital setting, if applied effectively within a community setting could be instrumental in the advancement of young people’s lives.
Having already the expertise, infrastructure and proven model of care in place, Oakfield have been uniquely positioned to provide an effective, meaningful service to this population, impacting and transforming lives for the better.
What we offer
At least 90% of our young people come either direct from a secure/hospital setting or have extensive background of secure / inpatient services:
Responsible Individual
‘Through our extensive experience, we have found placements for particularly complex young people, where they have their own space and can focus solely upon their own personal development without unnecessary distractions achieve vastly superior outcomes, especially those coming from a secure setting’.
We feel our placements stand alone as we have a truly deep understanding of our young people and are able to tailor each placement around the specific young person entering the service.
