Gastrointestinal conditions often have strong links to stress, worry and emotional sensitivity.
Oakfield helps young people understand these mind–body connections and teaches them tools for managing flare-ups, pain-related anxiety, eating-related worries and the frustration of unpredictable symptoms. Our emotional regulation and resilience-building techniques support children in feeling calmer and more in control.
We partner closely with gastroenterology teams to ensure children receive joined-up care that considers both their physical and emotional needs.
